The American Heritage Museum is enhancing its Vietnam War Gallery with two major artifacts: a Soviet-designed SA-2 Guideline surface-to-air missile and a Bell HH-1K “Huey” helicopter representing the U.S. Navy’s HA(L)-3 “Seawolves.” Both on long-term loan from national military museums, these additions will showcase the high-stakes aerial duels over North Vietnam and the lifesaving role of helicopters in combat. Restoration work is underway, with installations planned later this year.
