First opera in ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i makes its way to the main stage

Tickets are nearly sold out for the premiere of “Kamalehua: The Sheltering Tree.” While Hawai‘i’s monarchs had a love for classical music, there was no opera composed in ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i.
