Nearly 100 people convened at the Palestine Museum US on Saturday afternoon to watch and listen and cheer as Mahmoud Khalil — the recent Columbia University graduate student who became the face and first target of President Trump’s crackdown on pro-Palestine campus activism — accepted an award from a local peace organization.
