Wood Gallery on Barre Street in Montpelier now includes the designation of museum in its name, which has been updated to T.W Wood Gallery, A Museum of American Art. According to its executive director, Sabrina Fadial, the T.W. Wood Gallery fits the museum criteria because it holds two permanent collections; has several galleries, including two that show contemporary work; and educational programming — lectures, workshops, classes, and special events.
